Does anyone has problems with the element orientation tool in HM v2023.1?

When I try to use the tool and change the element orientation it takes really long. With many Elements to align (900k) it doesnt work or it takes very long (more than 30min.) What is the problem?

    Hi,

    900k is indeed a lot but if shouldn't take more than 30min.
    What tool do you use: the 'Normals' tool or the 'Review Orientation' dialog?
    What is your solver interface? Are you working with 2D or 3D elements? Do you try to reverse normals or to align N1-N2 dir?
