Hej, I am trying to run a composite sizing optimization on my Student license hypermesh but the optimization keeps getting terminated after one iteration showing a Fatal Error: "OptiStruct ERROR: 2. A fatal error has occurred in your model. Please refer to the .out file to obtain more information on how to correct it." When i looked at the .out file, the only indication of any error was " This error occurs in module "snsdrv"." Does anyone know why this error keeps popping up and is it a modeling issue or a computer memory or a student license issue.

can't tell what this error means, but maybe attaching the .out and .stat files might be helpful.

Hi, i have attached the out and stat files

It looks like a memory issue. Can't tell for sure.

How much of RAM do you have?

Can you try again with everything else closed to free some RAM?

Another thing: B: drive is a local drive? or is it a network drive? If it is network, please avoid using it.

This error occurs in module "snsdrv".

*** WARNING: The amount of allocated memory exceeds available RAM - this
may cause significant slowing down of solution progress due to the swapping
