Generative design exploration
Hello,
I have installed the optistruct solvers and hypermesh but when i evaluate my design exploration with the type of generative design i can't see any option that can change the variables option to concepts. Is there an additional package that i have to install?

Hello @georgetrik ,
HyperWorks Desktop and Mechanical packages (both installed through Master installer) should be enough to access Generative Design.
Which version are tou using, and where in the process are you facing a stopper?Best Regards,
Michael

Hello Michael.
Thank you for answering. I have hypermesh 2024.1 with optistruct solvers 2024.1. I can perform generative design but when i preview the results i can not have access to the family of concepts (clusters). There is no such option to select.

Hi @georgetrik,
Thank you for providing additional details related to the Design Explorer Generative Design query.
We are checking with the development team on the same & will provide a suggestion for the same in the due course.

Hi @georgetrik,
As per the Design Explorer development team, you may not be having the required EDS license feature as you have a student HyperWorks license/account & hence, the 'Concepts' do not appear under the 'Result Explorer' tab.
For the 'Concepts' filter to be available, a clustering report has to be generated which is a Engineering Data Science (EDS) feature.
If one has the required EDS license feature, the 'Concepts' would appear (as shown below) in the 'Result Explorer' tab.
Hence, upgrading the license with the required features is the only recommended solution for this issue.
Unless, you have the required EDS license & you are still having this issue. If that is the case, kindly let us know so that we can suggest accordingly thereafter.
Many thanks.
Kind Regards
Garima Singh
