ERROR 31061: ADAPTFEKO run will terminate now due to error in RUNFEKO

I am trying to generate a 15x15 rectangular patch array.

I have started by using the component library and specifying a frequency for a single element.

This single element runs. when I create a 4 x 4 array and change the properties of the substrate, change the Cuboid1 width (W) so that elements do not overlap, and run the structure it provides correct results.

when I try to generate larger structures 8x8 or larger i receive the following error:

"ERROR 31061: ADAPTFEKO run will terminate now due to error in RUNFEKO"

What does this mean? Is it a setup issue or a memory issue?

I am running this on the full program (not the student version) and I am using a server with 1TB of RAM and ample space on the harddrive.

    Hi Catherine,

Would it be possible to attach the model (.cfx) here?

    Which version are you using?

    Best reghards,
    Torben

    Torben,

Attached is the model file and a screen shot of the last few lines of the output file.

I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

    Regards,

    Katherine

    Also, Torben,

    The version is FEKO 2024.

Oops, you accidentally attached the .bof file. Could you attach the .cfx file?

Attached should be the .cfx file now.

    Thank you.

    Thanks Catherine,

The simulation is now running. Let's see if it works on my side (memory < 6 GByte, so that shouldn't be an issue). Could you maybe aso attach the .out file of your failed simulation?

    Best regards,
    Torben

    Hi Katherine,

The simulation ran successfully (files attached).

Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce what the problem was on your side.

Note, you have limited the maximum number of frequencies for the continuous range to 11, which is why WARNING 31005: ADAPTFEKO terminated: The maximum number of sample points was reached appears as expected. Perhaps you would be better off using discrete frequencies, which could also be significantly faster.

    Best regards,
    Torben
