How do I install extension on AI Hub?
ecdbert
How does one install extensions used in Studio on the RM AI Hub? I've tried doing as stated in
https://community.rapidminer.com/discussion/59/how-do-i-install-extensions-for-rapidminer-serve
r. I can see the extensions when I restart the service but they are not running. They are being replaced by dummy extensions.

Hi,
from a first glance it looks like it's now loading so many extension that it doesn't finish after 5 min.
Maybe this can help you:

Hi,
the linked thread is already 5 years old, please check either
this video
or
the docs

. The old post was the only one I found so thanks for sharing the links. The video doesn't seem to cover a windows installation, which is what I have. Weird thing is the doc link behaves differently depending on the device from which I read your response. From my PC I get
https://docs.rapidminer.com/latest/deployment/manage/install-extension.html
but from my phone I get
https://docs.rapidminer.com/latest/legacy/install/extensions/#synchronization
. Or maybe it was changed afterwards. In any case using the latter link showed promised, but now I'm unable to connect to the server from Studio and the web interface initially gave the error "
Could not load page. Please refresh the page and contact your administrator if the problem persists.
". Now I'm unable to login at all.
I've attached the log file here.

@jwpfau
, your response helped me a lot. I had a quick read of the link you provided, but since I know very little about java and setting the properties for jboss, it'll take me some time and research. For now I'll just include the extension files as I need them when running my processes on the server. I did a quick test on a few and that seems to have resolved the problem.
Also, the original link in your first response (
https://docs.rapidminer.com/latest/legacy/install/extensions/#synchronization
.) was perfect for my situation. The second one (
https://docs.rapidminer.com/latest/deployment/manage/install-extension.html
) seems more suited for cloud deployments.
Thanks a million.
I do hope that RM can include in a future update an option in Studio to make this processes easier.
