How to create a vector between two points ?
Hello,
I want to create a vector from the front wheel center to the front tire contact patch for a two-wheeler in order to measure its dynamic mechanical trail after conducting a straight-line braking event. I have already created an output request for the wheel center. When I add a vector it asks me for the coordinates for a point and does not allow me to point it toward another point. What am I missing here? and which one to use single or pair vector as I don't see any difference according to the data both of them demand from me.

Hello Draucis - I am not sure if it would help to get the dynamic trail from the solution, but if you are using version 2022.2 of MotionView, there is an option to orient the vector using point
For a two wheeler a single should work. Pair is a concept that fits with 4-wheelers having a left and right side systems. In that case most of the bodies, points are created as a pair and leverage the symmetry. The symmetry on pairs work about the global XZ plane.

Hello Praful,
Oh alright got it. Can you suggest any alternatives to how to plot a dynamic mechanical trail for the front wheel of a two-wheeler?
Thanks
