Hello,

I wanted to know the meaning of the quantities F1-F8 in sinusoidal steering event when I am trying to plot steering angle and torque. Can someone direct me to the SDF Altair guide files where I can see about that? I can only find it for the 4-wheeler model but not for rge 2 wheeler model.

Regards

Draucis

    Hello Draucis,

    Are you asking about this output?

    image

    If so, then it is:

    F2 = Steer angle in degrees

    F3 = Steer torque in N-m.

    In case you are asking about some other output, please add some more details.

    Regards

    Raghavendra.

    Hi Draucis,

    The F1, F2,... components are documented on the relevant pages. For instance, the AltairDriver outputs can be found here: Driver Outputs (altair.com).

    SImilarly for tire models, the description can be found here: Coordinate Systems and Output Requests (altair.com).

    It is probably a little difficult to locate. We are working on improving the accessibility of these and also providing some meaningful names to them.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards

    Raghavendra.
