One more thing, Create an output request for wheel centre location

    Hi draucis,

By default, trail is not available in report but all the components required to calculate it are available.

The tire contact patch location and wheel centre location is available in result file.  You can create a vector from wheel centre to contact patch and take the component along vehicle's longitudinal direction.

    Regards,

    Sonu

    Hello Sonu,

I tried doing the above points but got confused in between, I have the following doubts, can you explain some more details about it. I know the wheel center location from the default coordinates it has in the model.

                                             * Which output type to choose from when creating a output for the wheel center

*And also, how exactly do I define a vector between two points.

*When I add a vector form the project menu it has RIGID as the system under                                                    telescopic fork - classic but I cannot expand it further to see the subcomponents

                                             * One more thing you mentioned was the tire contact patch location and the                                                      wheel center location are available in the results file but all I get after I press                                                    results after the analysis is done running is a window of HyperView which opens                                              a .h3d file. how do i get the locations from here

                                             * a way I found was to define a point from the macros option which says                                                            create a point along a vector, does this have anything to do with how to define                                              contact patch location

    Thanking You

    Draucis
