Preferences wont open

Hey there,

as the title suggests the RM preferences wont open if clicked, the same goes for the marketplace. Essentially I just wanted to activate parallel computing, but the window wont pop-up. I tried restarting my PC, searching in the forums, but didnt had success yet. Any Ideas are welcome.

Hi,

Are you having a multi-monitor setup? Usually it will open where the main Studio window is, but you never know depending on OS, screen layouting in multi-screen setups, etc.
If that is not the case, I suggest having a look at the .RapidMiner/rapidminer-studio.log file in your user home folder. It may contain an error which is preventing these dialogs from opening.
I'm curious about this one, because I have never encountered this particular issue before..
