Hi all,

Recently I need to use Comsol to do some electromagnetic analysis. But I need to mesh outside Comsol use Hypermesh. Does anybody know whether the Hypermesh can output matching mesh types to Comsol?

Hypermesh is a Open system. Thanks to templates, you can pratically output to any format for the mesh.

Have a look at Online Help with "template FE output".

Most of the FEA programs accept Nastran input format for importing.

So in order to create a mesh in HM, just give it a try, and export it in Nastran format (choose Nastran in File>>Export), and import it in Comsol.
