How to fit the Akaike information criterion in the results from Auto Model?
DocMusher
My dear RM friends,
What is the value of the
Akaike information criterion
when using Auto Model?
Thanks for the feedback!
Sven

This is probably another question for
@mschmitz
but I don't believe there is an automatic way of outputting AIC in RapidMiner for any model. It is a performance that is available inside a select few ML algorithm operators but there is no general performance operator for it.

You are right. AIC is a bit model-specific since you would need the number of parameters of the model which is not always trivial to get in a generic way (and I am not sure how I would calculate AIC for most of the AM models...). So I think AIC won't make it into AM anytime soon ;-)
