Help: how can I solve the problem
Hello.
I already read the answer to this question posted in February 2019. But I´m still having problems with this.
My pc fits the RapidMiner studio system requirements.
I´m processing some data in order to visualize a correlation matrix. But when I click in "Matrix Visualization" the message "could not initialize HTML5 browser" appears.
Please, how can I solve this?
Best Regards,
Érika

- What operating system are you using?
- What does your USER_HOME/.RapidMiner/rapidminer-studio.log file say? It does contain more information about the cause of the issue.
Can you inform which version of Java you were using (version and 32 or 64 bit) and also windows version (64 or 32 bit)?
@Marco_Boeck might suggest something on this
In the meantime, you can use the legacy charts as mentioned in below thread.

Hi,
We noticed that in RapidMiner Studio 9.2.1 on OS X 10.11 the HTML5 visualizations do not work at all. OS X 10.12 and later are working fine, as is OS X 10.10. We have a fix for that in the upcoming 9.3 release and apologise for the inconvenience this may cause until the fix is deployed.

Marco

Hello guys,
My Windows version is "7 home basic" 64bits.
However I didn´t get to apply the solutions you gave me.
So,I chose "update" on the Program files --> RapidMiner --> RapidMiner Studio.
Finaly I reinitialized the system.
I am far away from being an expert in this area, so I really don´t know what exactly happened but this problem was "solved"!
I am happy I can visualize the RM charts I am working with.
Thanks for all your time and attention,
best regards
Erika

Hello @ErikaH
Did you try opening Rapidminer from batch files so that you can see the log that gives more information about why it is not initializing? (You can open from Program files --> RapidMiner --> RapidMiner Studio, here you can see batch windows batch file). You can search CTRL+F for HTML5 and see if there are any issues in loading HTML5.
As you saw earlier answers, you can use legacy charts.
Thanks
