Delete Shell_4N in Implicit nonlinear

Hi my dear

I have problem in Implicit solver

I have error "Delete shell_4N " during computation

Please help me(I send file)

hi,

usually is good to send the .out files of your run as they have more details on the errors.

For Implicit, usually we use OptiStruct as the solver.

But anyway, it would be nice also if you can describe what you are trying to accomplish and add some pictures too.

In many examples, an Explicit solver is used.
In this case, the amount of intrusion on the Front door will be checked,In less than 10 seconds and the maximum displacement of the cylinder (Impactor)is 500 mm.
But I could not solve the problem. Please check the file and identify my problems. (maybe the velocity of impactor or Time step or Interface is wrong).Thanks

it's not what you want, but this is an example file for NonLinear Transient Analysis in OptiStruct, in case it's useful for you.

Radioss implicit is not so used anymore, but also, you could try this 0001.rad file, and maybe it might be helpful too with your model.

I can't define IMP_Dis. or IMP_VEL in optistruct solver, I have to solve this simulation in radioss solver.

my simulation about INTRUSION on front door's car.

Rigid Impactor have intrusion door with V=0.1 mm/s , t=3s .

how can solve this simulation.
