Shaft torsional stress varies 70 to 210 Mpa for the given tosional boundry condition.

Would like to know the difference bewteen Adapt for stiffness/Custom/Stress & applicable areas

Apart from this case study in General, stress value found high in SIMSOLID software leading to difficult to conclude-To be clarify

Would like to know Seperation contact applications. In fastner joint applications is it applicable?

    Adapt for stiffness applies basic adaptation only and is good for trend studies. Adapt for stress accounts for complex geometry shapes and stress gradient, to get higher fidelity solution. Refer to help for more details.
