Contact penetration

i simulated a snapfit . Kindly see the attached image . The penetration happens in the interface even i used contact between the components

i tried all this option

Used N2S and S2S

Used stiff - AUTO , SOFT, HARD

Changed contact type to slide, Static fric..

Even fine meshed the model , Still penetration occurs

KIndly help me to solve this issue

when using contacts, specially N2S contacts, the contact pairing identification depends on the selection of who is the master and the slave. Usually, the master is set as the coarser mesh, and slaves are more refined, so that many slave nodes can be found by the master side.

Probably you need to refine your mesh a little bit better, specially in the contact zones, to get a better pairing.
