I saved the .dat file for downloading the student version but it's not downloading. I created an environmental variable named ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH under my Program Files (x86) folder what do I do next?

altair_lic.dat file is the license file.
There are links for downloading assign to the names of the student version of the Altair software in the email that you received from the Altair University Team, see the next figure.
