As far as I know, by default RapidMiner is doing In-Memory analysis.

How could we change this to in-Hadoop analysis? or In-Database analysis?
Are there any good tutorials for this? I can't manage to find them out!

Thnak you in advance!

    Hi,

our partner Radoop develops the equally-named extension that adds Hadoop support to RapidMiner. The extension is not available for free. Please find any details on http://www.radoop.eu/ .

    Best regards,

Thank you Marius for you answer,

Do RapidMiner switch the type of analyse (ex. to in-Hadoop analysis) directly, if we use the radoop connecter? or is there something to specify?

    Thank you in advance,

    Hi veve,

if you have Radoop you get a new operator called Hadoop Nest. Inside the nest you can use some special hadoop operators for certain analysis tasks, and everything you do inside the nest will be performed directly in the cluster.

I have seen that you have asked a lot of questions about RapidMiner and Radoop lately. If you like, contact us via our website at http://rapidminer.com/about-us/contact-us/ . Our team will be happy to discuss all the possibilities and features you have with Radoop and discuss which configuration will be the best for you.

    Best regards,
    Marius
