[SOLVED]Stopping RapidMiner Server on Linux

whats the proper way of stopping RM server? I am currently just issuing a kill %1 - having executed standalone.sh in the background.

that's fine. You can call "jboss-cli.sh -- --connect --command=:shutdown;" if you like for an alternative though if you like.
