Hot to do inverse Fourier transform

Hi,
I am trying to use the Fourier transform related operators including the discrete and continueous transforms. I can get the outputs successfully.
The next step I want to do is the inverse fourier transform by using the most significant frequencies. However, the output result sets only contain the frequencies and the amplitudes. I need both the real part of the cos function and imagine part of the sin function to do the inverse transform.
How can I do the inverse Fourier transform by using the output result from the Fourier transform?
Please Help.
