Import and Crashing
Hyperworks Student Edition importation problem
I'm having problems when I try to import files, I had followed the steps to import, starting by "File" - "Import".
I had tried with some common files like "stp, obj, stl, etc"
The files contain a piece that I made in different programs, Blender and Inventor.
As you can see it's a simple piece.
In this case, for the example I'm gonna use a "stp" format.
After clicking open, the "Geometry import options" window appears. I use the default configuration
When I click "Import", it starts loading the file, but immediately it crashes, (I couldn't made a screen shot because it's too quick)

Hey Oswaldo!
Can you go over this Altair Community blog post Achieving Optimal HyperWorks Performance and make sure you're installation complies with the guidelines described?
Are you able to open this geometry file in another CAD reading software?
Kind Regards,

Thanks for the post. I run into the same problem with the latest version of Hypermesh 2023 (education). I also tried importing many different supported CAD-formats on two different computers always resulting in the same problem. I don't even get an error message, the program rapidly closes as if I ended it in the task manager. I previously used the 2022 educational version, which worked fine. But after my license expired, I was forced to update to the 2023 release.

I also have the same issue with the 2023 educational version.
