I am working on a magneto static 3D problem in which I have two coils on a yoke to induce a magnetic field in the sample and yoke, but I am not able to orient terminals with it.
Anyone here to help!
Regards
Mohammad Hamza Azam
Hi Hafiz Muhammad Hamza Azam,
The non-meshed coils have no terminals.
The orientation is given by the orientation of the arrows, as in the figure below, which is given by the orientation of the coordinate system in which the non-mesh coil is defined and for a composed coil and through the definition of the points of the path.
In you case the orientation is given by the X and Y axis.
The simplest way the change the orientation is to define a coordinate system dedicated for the coil in which you set the rotation angle about the X or Y axis to -180 degrees.
Best regards,
Alexandru
Hi,
Can you send us your Flux project (zip format without mesh).
Best regards.

But it is asking me to do. please see the attached picture.
I have saved the project and zipped the folder using WinRAR. I have attached it here but I don't know if it's alright or not. please let me know.
Thank you for your interest.
If you use non-meshed coils you do not need volume regions defined as coil conductors regions for then, in your case BOB_LF1 and BOB_LF2 volume regions.
You can create geometric volumes for the coils to control the mesh, in this case you can create volume regions as air or vacuum regions.
Pay attention that you set the same electrical component for the COIL_2 non-meshed coil as for COIL_1, COILCONDUCTOR_1.

Thank you for your interest. Really appreciate it. Actually i have changed these things, also the one you have mentioned. But everything in vain. If don't create those region it gives another error. Let me try the geometric coils. Many thanks. Regards
I made the changes in your project and it does not give me errors.
Please see the attached project.

Dear Alexandru, can you please tell me which version of flux did you used,I am not able to open the file because of having a previous version.
