"Rapidminer freezes for scatterplot"

I have just downloaded Rapidminer and loaded a dataset with 15 attributes and about 95,000 rows. I can plot a histogram but the program freezes whenever I try a scatterplot.

I am running Windows 7 with 16 Gb memory. I reinstalled jre7 64-bit (latest release) and the problem still occurs. I think that I set all of the maximum row variables etc but am not really sure if this makes a difference. I set the MAX_JAVA_MEM environment variable to 2048.

Can you help - I've looked at other posts on this but none seem relevant.

Hi,

I just tried both the "Plot View" and the "Advanced Charts" plotters, and both worked just fine for a 15 attributes / 100,000 examples.
Can you try launching RapidMiner from the commandline and see if any errors pop up?
