I saw some video about how can I use rapidminer to crawler the web, however I do have some following questions about whether if it is possible to download the webcontent directly as xls datasheet, or do I have to find some operators to do it for me?

Hi wasa,

the integrated crawler just allows storing single websites as text files. If you set the option "add as attributes" to the crawler operator "Crawl Web", you can easily write an Excel sheet using the operator "Write Excel".
