Hi,
I suggest you start RapidMiner from the cmd console so you can see what's wrong. You can do that by navigating to your RapidMiner installation folder, then go into the scripts directory and execute RapidMinerGUI.bat. If it's because of a somehow invalid R extension file, you can try and delete the R extension .jar file in the lib/plugins folder of your RapidMiner directory and re-download it again later via the update manager.

I targeted the problem rmx_r-5.1.4.jar and deleted it under C folder with the info in RapidMinerGUI.bat console.
Now RM could start up normally
