quick question: is the a possibility for the log operator to append to a file, instead of overwriting it?

i'll throw in another question: how to log information about preprocessing done? i mean, what operators were applied to the data set in the process?

i guess i will have to answer the questions myself. regarding the first one - no, bo one can append %{t} to the filename to have it unique. and about the second one, i guess it would be needed to write a dedicated operator for this task.
