Generating Enforced Velocities as a function of initial position

I have a 2d mesh that I wish to apply prescribed velocities to during an explicit analysis. The nodes on the mesh need enforced velocites that are functions of their x & y positions, as well as time.

Effectively meaning that every node needs it's own amplitude curve. For many nodes, is there an automated method of creating these curves and loads in hypermesh?

Hi,

I don't think we have a script/option available for this function as of now. You have to manually create curves and assign to these nodes.

I understand that Abaqus has the *analytical_field capability for something close to this but I don't see support in hypermesh for this.

Hi,

Similar to analytical_field option we have equation option but it is not available for RADIOSS solver.
