"Error Accessing Update Server"

Hello!

I have just installed RapisdMiner and am anxious to get the text mining plug-in. When I try Update at the Help menu, in the midst of apparently getting information the Udate Failed message appears. I have allowed a bug report to be sent in; but I was hoping that someone here could quickly help me remove this roadblock.

As an addendum to my message above, the error report includes the following: "Java.lang.OutOfMemory Error". I am running 32-bit Vista.

exact same problem here. Downloaded RapidMiner 5.1 yesterday, at startup it mentions that there are updates (and I would like to install some extensions). Going to the update manager gives me the same error.. Something wrong with the iRapid server? or in the update manager.

64-bit Windows 7 here

Thanks for this help.

The experience of that message over several hours so frustrating that I need to ask you to ask your programmers to put in code that would cause a helpful message to come to us when the problem is coming from something like a server being down.
