Modelling metal composite shell layers

Hi all,

As my knowledge we could use Hypercrash to simulate crash of composite layers using Prop Type 11 Sandwich Shell, but this is limited only to composite material. Now i want to simulate crash if the layers consist of metal and composite material. Is it possible? What property law should i use then?

Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi,

Try with Type 51 property. For metal use material law 36 and material law 25 for composites.

For each ply associate the correct material law while defining plies.
