    iam new to rapidminer and data mining.
I want to learn data mining methods. I have already learnt few and checked out the video tutorials. I have choosen network security topic and o want to analyse. here is the source for dataset

now how do i proceed which method to apply. someone please help me.

actually I would start reading about Data Mining Methods. You won't understand how the work just by applying them.
If you want to learn how to use them, rather than understand how they work, you might take part in one of our webinars available in our shop.
