Saturable inductor array from text file

Dear all,

I have the following problem:

I have a program/code which generates a high frequency model including parasitics,... and saturation effects for an inductor.

To use this model in PSIM I thought about a submodel which uses parameters form a text file.

Therefore, I wanted to generate a text file including the table/array, which can be inserted as parameter in my submodel.

However, the saturation model works when I directly type in the table, but not as a parameter from text file.

Same should be possible for a capacity with biased voltage (which I did not try so far).

Many thanks in advance!

    Hi, Matthias,

Presently, the Saturable Inductor block cannot read data from the parameter file.

I have forwarded your issue to the development team. Hope they will add this functionality to the model soon.

I have built a simple example circuit using a lookup table to implement the nonlinear characteristic of the saturable inductor:

    Hi Rhonda,

many thx. I am quite new to PSIM. In the email you mentiond I should find the psim fiele somewhere attached. Where/how can I find it?

The PSIM schematic was attached to the support ticket CS0497760.
