When applying a pressure load, is the magnitude value the total amount of force applied or the force to be applied to each element?

I am working on a university project. I need to apply a total load of 6kN across a seat belt uniformly. To do this I was using the pressure function. For the magnitude, do I input 6kN? Or do I need to calculate the number of elements and enter 6kN/#elements? I am not sure if the magnitude is the total force or the force to be applied to each element. See below. Thanks.

In Pressure panel, when you apply a magnitude -6000.0 (as picture) so each element will be applied a pressure of -6000.0 (in pressure unit, depending to your working system unit).

The correct way is computing firstly the pressure :

pressure = total force / area

In your case: total force = 6 kN

Area can be mesured by "mass calc".

NEVER compute the pressure by dividing the total force by element number! It's WRONG!
