Tutorial Overview
In this tutorial, you will be introduced to Cylindrical Periodic Boundaries, which could reduce your domain in a simulation governed by the rotation of a geometry. The boundaries transfer bulk material from one plane to the other one, while maintaining the forces occurring within the particles.
Rotational periodic boundaries can significantly reduce simulation time. They are particularly useful to simulate only a section of a rotational system, for example in the case of mixing you can model a section of the rotating drum rather than the full application.
This tutorial will focus on:
- How to create Cylindrical Periodic Boundaries
- How to work with Playback Scheduler
