Borrow Settings - Managed Licenses

Licenses can be borrowed by client machines that are intermittently connected to the network. When the licenses are borrowed, the client machine can be disconnected from the network and will be able to run the applications for as long as the borrowed license is valid.

Note:  Only Altair One administrators or owners have permission to set feature restrictions for Altair One hosted licenses.

 

  1. Login to Altair One.
  2. Click on image  located in the upper right-hand corner of the web page.
  3. Click Managed Licenses > Hosted License Settings > Borrow Settings.

  • Admin/Owner has the privileges to enable or disable borrowing for their organization.
  • Admin/Owner can set the maximum number of tokens and hours that can be borrowed by any individual user.
  • Licenses can be borrowed for a maximum of 336 hours (14 days).
