How to Configure SimLab to Import a CAD Model from NX Software

To import a CAD model from NX software, SimLab must be configured in one of the following ways:

1. During installation or reconfiguration, configure SimLab to point to the location of the NX utiltiy run_journal.exe.
2. Set environment variables in vp_init.bat to point the NX utility run_journal.exe.

 

Configure SimLab During Installation or Reconfiguration

While installing or reconfiguring SimLab, enter the location of the NX utility run_journal.exe when prompted:

 

 

Configure SimLab Using Environment Variables in vp_init.bat

Set the following variables in vp_init.bat located in SimLab\bin\win64.

Note: Define these variables according to your installation and licensing.
