Issue: 

Disconnected bodies found. AutoWall requires all bodies to be connected. Do you want to continue?

Such message generally implies that bodies (volumes) are not connected (disconnected mesh). E.g. in the picture below, even though element might appear to be connected, they might be not be. ChartDescription automatically generated

Connectivity can be checked by using the “Interface Surfaces” tool.

  1. It is possible to use “Join” to create a matching mesh at these surfaces. A picture containing diagramDescription automatically generated


  1. However the easiest option is to avoid such issues in the first place, by using “Create matching mesh” at first surface meshing attempt.

  1. There is a more robust option for complicated geometries.
  1. This approach uses Boolean to at CAD level before surface meshing
