Altair® Panopticon™ 2024.0 Now Available!

Altair Panopticon v. 2024.0 requires Java 17 and Apache Tomcat 10 (previous versions used Java 8 and Tomcat 9).

Highlighted new features in release 2024.0:

• Panopticon is now available as a Docker Compose package, including four different containers for Panopticon Visualization Server, Data Store database, Python, and R.  You can set up a complete Panopticon environment for evaluation, testing and development on a laptop or desktop workstation in under 30 minutes - ideal for testing, evaluation and proof-of-concept purposes.
• New Gauge visualization, with modes Radial, Horizontal Vertical. This part replaces both the Donut Gauge, the Horizontal Bullet Graph and the Vertical Bullet Graph. It also adds the new capability of showing a traditional gauge visualization with many different styling settings. This new Gauge visualization is used for creating both radial gauge (speedometer) and bullet graph visualizations.
• New File Data connector with drag-and-drop support that handles all supported file types. Column definitions and data profiling is done automatically. A file can be loaded by a single drag-and-drop, regardless of file type: CSV, Excel, JSON, XML, Arrow, HTML with tables, and any delimited text file.
• New frameworks for Shared Alerts with support for Commenting, Resolving, Claiming and Delegating. This new collaboration and workflow management framework allows several people to collaborate in their work driven by alert notifications.
• The Data Policy feature (data access control) is now supported for all kinds of data tables, including Data Store data tables and Query-on-Demand database data tables. Data Policy supports access control of both rows and columns based on user identity and/or user group. The high performance of Data Store can be leveraged in combination with row-level and column-level data access control.
