Radioss 3D Bolt Pretension

Overview

Script will generate a 1D spring connected rigidly to section of a 3D bolt used for pretension.

Usage/Installation Instructions

Run TCL script. Enter the pretension value to appear on the spring (P34_SPR_PRE) Select the element in the 3D bolt to be removed (replaced with the 1D spring and RBODYs) Select a set of nodes that defines the cross section of the 3D bolt. Note: Function is created with a ramp up = (0,0) (0.01,1) (1,1)
