Faces Per Component

Overview

Obtain new components with the 2d faces of the selected 3d components. Optionally assigns thickness to the 2d element faces, for OptiStruct and Abaqus profile.

Usage/Installation Instructions

Run the script, select components and thickness. New components with the 2d elements will be created. If thickness is not equal to 0, a property will be assigned to these elements.

Limitation

Thickness only for Abaqus and OptiStruct profile. Not tested for others.
