Overview

Enhancement to existing script ID 724. This script creates Spring1 elements that correspond to 3 DOFs (translations only). Three components and properties are created to hold the elements. User specifies only one name for components and properties, which in turn is updated with an extension depending on DOF.

Usage/Installation Instructions

  1. Run the script. Input a name for components and properties.
  2. Specify stiffness.
  3. Choose needed DOFs.
  4. Click Create.
  5. Pick as many places for Spring1 elements as needed.
