Overview

Process of Converting OptiStruct Freeze Contact into Radioss TYPE2 Interface.

Usage/Installation Instructions

First, invoke "OSDelNonFreeze.tcl" to delete all CONTACT cards which doesn't have FREEZE type.

Second, convert OptiStruct to Radioss via "Tools -> convert -> OptiStruct -> To Radioss".

Last, invoke "GroupUpdate_AfterOpti2RadConverion.tbc" to make all /INTER/TYPE2 cards.

 

Limitation

An OptiSturct model should have CONTACT with TYPE=FREEZE. TIE cards are not allowed. In /INTER/TYPE2, a slave node set is defined by /GRNOD/NODE and a master surface is defined by /SURF/PART/EXT. Spotflag is set to 25 and Ignore is set to 1 in a /INTER/TYPE2.
