Overview

This is only for Nastran/OptiStruct Solvers Converts following entities: # Grid locations # Pbeam, Pbar, PROD, PELAS, Pshell, Pshear # Masses: "mass" # Mat1: Mat1 Material: E, G, Rho are updated # Mat2 Material: G, Rho ,ST,SC,SS are updated # Systems Following unit systems are available : # "m,kg,N" # "mm,ton,N" # "in,lb/386,lbf" # "in,lb,lbf"

Usage/Installation Instructions

1- Load the model to convert

2- Run the macro

3- Select the "current units" and the "convert to" units

4- Clic the "Convert" button


Limitation

Works only for the entities listed in the "description" section.

    Lovely tool from when supplier FEM's come in to the wrong specification.  Any chance of adding Pcomp and Mat8s in a future update?

    Here is an updated version with support added for PCOMP / MAT8 / DMIG + bug fixes

    (Note, rename the extension to tcl)
