Hypermesh: Modal analysis with enforced displacement (acceleration/frequency) at SPC point

Hi everone,

I'm trying to do a Freq. resp (modal) with an acceleration input (Acc/frequency) at the fix point of my model (node ID 10) but I find in the H3D result no displacement...

I used this can of cards:

- SPC (node 10) with all DOF checked = 0.0

- SPCD (node 10) with just DOF 2 (Y axis for me) checked = 1.0

- DAERA (node 10) with just DOF 2 (Y axis for me) checked = 1.0

I have a a RLOAD2 for my DAERA with a curve in TABLED1.

DAREA is need only for FORCE input, and it should NOT be used with SPC.

 

In your case, SPCD+SPC is the correct setup, pointint the SPCD into the RLOAD2, set to acceleration.

remove the DAREA.
