Separate Attached Regions to Comps or Sets

Overview

Either the whole model or the displayed part (most important use case: without some 1D elements) is split into attached regions and either organized by comps or referenced by element sets.

Usage/Installation Instructions

Adapt the path in the userpage.mac and save the file as or append it to your own userpage.mac The buttons will occupy the whole model or the displayed part and create either comps or sets.

 

Limitation

In case there are many single detached elements, performance goes down. That might happen easily by masking all RBE3, but leaving a heap of ACM hexas displayed.
