Assign Curve Data to Abaqus Material (*plastic)

Overview

Into the HyperMesh ABAQUS profile, the script reads the curve (XY plot) information and assign the data to the material card (*MATERIAL *PLASTIC).

Usage/Installation Instructions

1 - Have the material collections (ABAQUS_MATERIAL cardimage)

2 - Have the curves data (Yield x Strain) columns

3 - Run the script:

3a. Select the curve to be assigned

3b. Select the material that will receive the curve data. Multiple material collectors can be selected to receive the same curve data.

Limitation

This script was created and tested to the HyperMesh ABAQUS 3D profile. None test or verification was performed to either other profiles or solvers.
