Organize Plate-components by Orientation

Overview

Organize Components into an assembly structure based on the normal orientation and position of contained surfaces. This is useful when dealing with a huge amount of structured surfaces as common in shipbuilding and aerospace.

Usage/Installation Instructions

1) run the script

2) select components to organize

3) set to 1 if global coors should be used first

4) select reference surfaces to organize by, keep empty to proceed

 

Limitation

Works only for components that contain surfaces in one plane.
