Defining Heat Flux Surface

I have defined a surface between 2 Volumes(in Hypermesh) . I want to provide Heat Flux on this surface.(I know how to do it)

However when i export the mesh file into Acuconsole 21,  there are 2 surfaces created (as seen in image). Should i provide the heat flux value to both or turn off the boundary condition for 1 of it.

   

MCU1 is the name of Surface while ALPLATE AND TETRA are 2 volumes on both side of surface.

You would want the heat flux applied to only one of those surfaces.  (There are two surfaces as they are separated based on the parent volume.  You can right-click the surface from the tree and select Info to understand which is the parent volume.)  You can leave the BC active on both, but you want the heat flux applied only to one of them.
