EDEM-Online Introduction course_2025 training schedule

Hi,

I'm working on an academic project which includes a small part of computational mechanical simulation to study the effect of particle shapes on the mechanical properties. I don't have previous experience in the field. Therefor I'm planning to attend the Pre-requisite course and later the instructor led-course. My questions are:

1- My project is expected "if funded" to start on September 2025, So I'd like to know the scheduled courses for the next year to include it in my grant proposal.

2-Are there any kind of summer courses organized during 2025 for beginners like me?

3- Is the Instructor Led learning free of charges?

1. With regards to EDEM course in 2025. We do offer free online training courses. The training courses run once a month. The exact dates for next year will be published later in 2024. 2. To start with EDEM, I'd recommend to check the EDEM resources link below, where you can find links to the elearning, tutorials and also videos that will help new EDEM users to speed up with the software. The resources will help you and also you can check the EDEM community on the Altair website.

3. Yes, the EDEM instructor online courses are free.

4. Finally, I'd adive you to register on Altair One (https://altairone.com/). This is Altair’s customer portal giving you access to product downloads, community, and customer support.
