Use as Moving Local Coordinate System in HyperView

Overview

Using this script it is possible to measure stresses, strains and other results respect to a local coordinate system that moves together with three nodes selected by the user. It is useful in large displacement and rotation analyses to simulate the output from strain gages or accelerometers. After plotting the contour of the desired result type, the user can select the three nodes that define the moving local coordinate system as well as the elements for which the results have to be output. The results can be plotted as a versus time curve, or output to a CSV file.

Usage/Installation Instructions

From the menu bar, select File -> Run -> Tcl/Tk Script.
