Vrml Export (Wrl Files)

Overview

Export models in vrml format (writes wrl files) including colour contours; allows coloured parts to be created with 3d printing machines. To review wrl files prior to printing, download a free wrl viewer from the internet, for example "cortona 3d". (Ver. 11: HWDesktop SA1-101)

Usage/Installation Instructions

From the menu bar, select File >> Run >> Tcl script.

 

Limitation: Only supports shell or solid element types. Linear analysis models are exported in deformed state.
