Script to flip the N1-N2 orientation of 1D elements. This is helpful when reflecting bar elements with tapered cross sections as the reflect panel flips the N1-N2 orientation of the reflected elements.
Usage/Installation Instructions
For Reflecting elements, here is the procedure to use it:
1) Go to Reflect panel and select elements to reflect.
2) Duplicate the element in their original collectors.
3) Reflect the elements.
4) Click on ELEMENTS > SAVE
5) On the Utility panel, click on Flip1D
6) Select ELEMENTS > RETRIEVE
7) Click on the green PROCEED button.
You’ll still need to re-attach the free 1D elements, but otherwise you’re ALL DONE.
Limitation
he script will error-out if you pick elements that are NOT 1D elements.
